In this lesson we will learn the names of countries and nationalities in French (with audio), starting with a little explanation followed by a list of countries and nationalities in French.

If you’re confused about the nationality, just say Je viens de (I am from) + Country (and its article): I’m from Nepal: je viens du Nepal. (du is de + le, more about it in the future lessons)

To ask “where are you from”: D’où viens tu? : je viens du Maroc (I’m from Morocco), Je suis Marocain (I’m Moroccan)
